I Thirst

ANEW 2016 Fall Conference

October 1, 2016

Conference Description

The 2016 ANEW Fall Conference will be hosted by the Adventist student organization at Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ.

This year, the theme is I Thirst. “Jesus answered and said to her, ‘Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.’” John 4:13, 14. Campus ministry leaders within the ANEW network converged together the first weekend of April at Blue Mountain Academy in PA to pray, worship, and plan this conference together as a collective body of students.

Join us as we discover the ultimate thirst quencher, Jesus Christ!

About this year's speaker

James Ervin II

Author and evangelist James Ervin II is a native of Nacogdoches Texas. After graduating from Nacogdoches High he flew north where he attended Eastern Michigan University as a collegiate athlete. In attending EMU, Ervin thought it his sole purpose to transform the football program from a losing to a winning organization. But instead, after several profound Bible studies with a student on campus, it was he that was transformed. From then on his life would never be the same. Actuated by a convicted conscience and the word of God, he hung up his cleats and tackled the ministry. Since then, James has had the awesome privilege of serving and ministering in various places in the nation, as well as select international locations. He now resides in Kennewick Washington with his lovely wife, Kala, where he serves as the outreach coordinator of a local church.
